Vendit Levels Up at Quantum Con
When thousands of gamers, cosplayers and pop-culture fans packed into Quantum Con on 5-7 November, Vendit was right there on the floor, fueling the fandom one vend at a time.
Conventions run on energy. Long queues, back-to-back panels, hours in full cosplay. Nobody wants to leave the action to hunt for a drink or a snack. So we brought the snacks to them, and turned every purchase into a game, with a big helping hand from our partners at Al Seedawi.
Four Machines, Two Games
We set up 4 Vendit smart machines across the event, stocked with cold drinks, protein snacks, energy boosts. Two of them doubled as game stations, each run by a Vendit promoter.
Every machine was fully cashless: tap your card or phone, pick on the touchscreen, grab your item in seconds. No cash, no queue, no missing the next panel. Khalas, snack problem solved.

Two of our machines came with their own challenge, built fresh for Quantum Con. No repeats, no reruns. Win the game, win a sweet reward.
- Trivia Challenge: players answered rapid-fire trivia questions to win. anime, gaming, pop culture, and what winners got.
- Jawab Ghalat (جواب غلط): A bunch of statements is said in 1 minute and all you have to do is answer wrong to each statement
Every winner walked away with a Try One chocolate from Al Seedawi .
And everyone who stopped by left their mark. Attendees grabbed Vendit stickers and slapped them right onto the machine, so by the end of the con it was covered in stickers from the Quantum Con crowd. A machine designed by the community, one sticker at a time.
Our promoters kept the energy high all day, running the games, cheering on players and helping first-timers make their first Vendit purchase.
The Sweetest Partner: Al Seedawi
None of the prizes would have happened without Al Seedawi. They backed our Quantum Con activation by giving us free Try One chocolates for the giveaway, so every right answer at the trivia station and every round of Jawab Ghalat came with a sweet reward.

The best part of the weekend wasn't something we planned. It was watching strangers turn into teams: friends shouting answers at the trivia station, crowds laughing through rounds of Jawab Ghalat, and new faces stepping up to add their sticker to the machine.

- Jawab Ghalat chaos: the game that had people laughing as much as playing.
- The sticker machine: what started as a clean Vendit machine ended the con as a wall of stickers, a souvenir built by everyone who passed by.
