Account Deletion

Request deletion of your VendIT Fleet account and the personal data associated with it.

Who this page is for

The VendIT Fleet is an internal workforce tool used by authorised VendIT personnel (refillers, technicians, storekeepers, supervisors). Accounts are issued and managed by VendIT administrators. Use this page to request deletion of your Fleet account and the personal data we hold about you.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion in either of the following ways:

  • Email us at hello@tryvendit.com with the subject line “Fleet account deletion”. Include your username and the name of your VendIT depot or supervisor so we can verify the request.
  • Use the button below to open a pre-filled email in your default mail app. Fill in the missing details and send it.

What we will need from you

  • Your username in the Fleet.
  • Your full name as registered with VendIT.
  • The name of your VendIT depot or supervisor, so we can verify the request.

We may contact you for additional information if we cannot verify your identity from the details provided. This is to protect your account from fraudulent deletion requests.

How long it takes

We action verified deletion requests without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of receiving them.

What is deleted

  • Your login credentials (username and password hash).
  • Your profile (name, contractor identifier, role, region or depot assignment).
  • Your device tokens and notification subscriptions.
  • Personal identifiers associated with your account.

What is retained

Operational records of work you performed (routes completed, refills, collections, photos used as proof of service) and related audit logs are retained for the periods set out in §7 of the Fleet Privacy Policy, where required for legal, accounting, audit, fraud-prevention, or evidentiary reasons. Where possible, your identifiers are removed or pseudonymised in those records.

Removing local data on your device

You can remove all data held locally on your device at any time by logging out of the App and uninstalling it. This clears the offline cache, queued operations, cached photos, and any stored authentication tokens from the device sandbox.
